** Quarterfinals came, and things looked dire for LCK come T1 match against LNG: All other LCK representatives were knocked out, even GenG, the one predicted to stand toe to toe against JDG. All of LCK eyes were on T1 - and they delivered. They stomped LNG 3-0, taking all 12 Drakes, 5 Herald and 2 Barons, leaving LNG with one failed Herald charge
** Semifinals pits them against JDG, currently considered to be the strongest team in the world, and on the Golden Road - JDG had already won LPL Spring, MSI and LPL Summer. T1 won the first game, lost the second, and just as JDG was pushing down midlane with Baron, Faker pulled perhaps one of the GREAT [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuDqVxRE4vk Shurima Shuffle]] to caught Ruler

The last game - another win for T1 - had an instance where [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHRHFsl-aMA Gumayusi showed the world that he is a contender of best ADC in the world]].
** They completely rolled over WBG 3-0 despite the latter's strugglm with Zeus popping off and styling on TheShy on both side of the Aatrox matchup.
** All the while, Keria showed that he had matured and grow from his last years, completely reinventing the meta and forcing the other teams to scramble to try and match T1
** To recap, to win the 2023 Worlds Championship, T1 litterally fought through ALL FOUR of LPL representatives and beating them convincingly. The final scores for this Worlds was T1 11-1 LPL.

* After their perfect LCK Spring split, T1 - a renamed SKT still with Faker as the midlaner - struggled to win any championships, almost always failing at the last step. Things become even more worse when Faker had to temporarily take a leave of absensce due to injuries, and T1 looked lost without him, going on a losing streak. Faker's return allowed them to claws their ways to the LCK Summer Finals, but they still lost to GenG. Their start at Worlds were rough, struggling against TL and losing to GenG AGAIN. But then... something changed.
** Against C9, T1 pulverized them, to the point that the latter had to desperately destroy 2 of T1's outer turrets to prevent a perfect game. Against BLG, who had defeated them in MSI, T1 won 2-0 in a very dominant fashion

* While the compilation will come across more as side-splittingly hilarious to those familiar with the metagame, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LeiwjJx994 Kusoru]] (see also his mention in the ''[=MvC3=]'' section below) is pretty much the living incarnation of [[https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL03A1BFDC75064F12 homo-genius]] when it comes to ''GG'' TournamentPlay. To quote a [=YouTuber=], he plays so unsafe that he's basically safe. And he manages to somehow throw his opponents for a ([[JustForPun Dust]])loop with mindgames and ''win'' rounds, let alone matches and tournaments, with this strategy. So imagine if Kusoru stopped essentially trolling his competition and played seriously for change. (A breakdown of Kusoru's antics and why he should've ''failed'' by all means can be found [[http://pastebin.com/P8h4LkuH here.]] For bonus points, there's some extra ''VideoGame/{{Fist of the North Star|TwinBlueStarsOfJudgment}}'' tomfoolery at the end of the above video.)

* Gobou had already proven himself to be one of the shining upcoming stars of ''-STRIVE-'' through his various tournament wins with Goldlewis and Zato, who are some of the hardest characters in the game to play effectively at high level. However, he managed to outdo himself at [=ArcRevo=] Japan 2023 by winning the whole thing not with Goldlewis or Zato, but '''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNo5UXZm5ag ASUKA]]'''. By the time he lands the last hit, you can see just how ''exhausted'' he is from the sheer mental strain of just how much micromanagement is required while playing Asuka at that high of a level.
