** It also included John Smith finally giving in and waving "Ana" back at Pocahontas. At first he had said he liked "Hello" better.
* What about our introduction to the character of Pocahontas? She dives down a waterfall cliff and is in the air for somewhere around ten seconds, which means her speed as she hit the water would be almost 200 mph! Even if we assume that the switch to view her friend in the canoe rewound time to just before her jump and we pick up right afterword, which isn't unrealistic given her position when the "camera" switches back, Pocahontas was falling for over 6 seconds, still, which means her fall was from about 650 feet high and around 140 mph at impact. This is still an insane distance to fall and expect to survive, let alone avoid serious injury, even when impacting water. Pocahontas isn't just awesome, she's downright insane! However, she's apparently tough as nails, since not only is she alive and conscious after impact, she's in a playful mood!

** While not holding up to the songs from the first movie, "Where Do I Go From Here?" and its reprise from the sequel are great as well.

Really when you think about it, it isnt awesome at all.

* Pocahontas casually diving off a waterfall in her introduction is pretty awesome-looking, although obviously NOT something anyone with a brain should try.

* CrowningMusicOfAwesome: Alan Menken scored the film, and boy did he deliver. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EHCOJ8g_9Q ''Farewell'']] is especially powerful. "Colors of the Wind" may be a BaseBreaker but it's still pretty darn awesome. "[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7v7m1XSrj6Q Steady As The Beating Drum]]" is also quite underrated.
* VisualEffectsOfAwesome: Pocahontas herself. She had 55 animators involved in designing her and is regarded as one of the most beautifully and realistically animated Disney characters. Her movements were helped by {{Rotoscoping}}.
