But then it turns out Vernias managed to win ''2'' Bonus Stars, finally securing him a true win over Brent. [[GracefulLoser Even Brent's quite happy that Vernias actually managed to win.]]

The title wasn't kidding about the CurbStompBattle when it said "Sophist destroyed us lmao". The end results? Nick with 2 stars (both from Bonus Stars), Vernias with 5 stars (including 1 Bonus Star), Brent with 6 stars (also including 1 Bonus Star), and Sophist with a whopping '''11''' stars.

* Their game on Woody Woods from ''Mario Party 3'' has Brent and Nick fighting for 1st place for the majority of the game, with the former holding onto it the longest. When Sophist reaches the top-right corner of the board though, he takes advantage of the Item Shop's location by constantly purchasing Reverse Mushrooms whenever he gets the chance, allowing him to repeatedly go backwards and use the Boo multiple times. Not only did this allow him to steal a Star from Brent, but this culminates in Sophist rolling high enough to land on Chance Time, the first time Sophist has ever attempted in this game, which ends with Sophist receiving ''all'' of Brent's Stars. Against all odds, Brent and Vernias come out on top and successfully tie.

While it ultimately doesn’t work out, he at least went down fighting until the end.
