* The Count's GrandEntrance in Episode 3 when he arrives at Albert's home. The lights go out just before that, and everyone is frozen in shock at the sight of the Count as he enters the parlor. Cue the slow motion as different angles of his profile are shown, the echoing of his footsteps, and the strong wind blowing through the room before he stops and the lights turn back on.

* In Episode 10: The detective Villefort has hired to investigate the Count of Monte Cristo learns of an old priest asking about "Louis Dantes". The old priest confronts him in a rundown room as the detective is rummaging through some things, and tells him "Allow me to tell you all about both of them; it will be far faster... THIS WAY!" before revealing himself to be none other than the Count himself. The dramatic music, and almost dreamlike surroundings combined with the Count's death glare and menacing laughter make it clear that the detective's death won't be quick.

* In episode 14, following Albert's BigDamnHeroes interference which saves the Count's life, he hits his head on the cobblestones after knocking Villefort to the side to save the Count. The impact knocks him put, and leaves him vulnerable as Villefort turns his anger towards him, and attempts to kill him as well. The Count uses Gankutsuou's power to save Albert in his own BigDamnHeroes move, and one can only speculate whether he and Villefort engaged in a scuffle, or if the Count threw himself between the enraged former Crown Prosecutor and the unconscious boy.

* At the start of Episode 13, Crown Prosecutor Villefort attempts to arrest the Count in a tense standoff as he and Albert are leaving the opera house together. Villefort clearly wants to make the arrest as dramatic as possible since a large crowd has gathered. Despite all the accusations hurled at the Count, he manages to stay calm even when Albert tries to defend him and also seems to be having a lot of fun as he smoothly turns the tables on his enemy, earning the admiration and amusement of the crowd.
* Near the end of the same episode, Villefort attempts to assassinate the Count in retaliation for the humiliation he suffered and his dismissal from his post. Albert manages to thwart the attempt by knocking Villefort to the side, shocking even the Count.

* At the start of Episode 13, Crown Prosecutor Villefort attempts to arrest the Count in a dramatic standoff as he and Albert are leaving the opera house together. Villefort clearly wants to make the arrest as dramatic as possible since a large crowd has gathered. And even then, while Andrea is being apprehended by the guards, he shakes them off to give one hell of speech to all the nobles and [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech calls them out on being two-faced pieces of trash.]] Yes, Andrea is a {{Jerkass}} CompleteMonster, but also a TragicVillain who finally gained some payback on the aristocrats who ruined his life.

** And then the police immediately come in to arrest Andrea and reveal to Danglars that he's a sham and that Danglars effectively ruined his company and family AllForNothing. The simultaneous KarmicPunishment is the cherry on the top.

* Albert managing to jump into Bertuccio's ship as the Count's mansion crumbles around them. This is also taking into account the fact Albert is carrying Haidee and he has a bullet wound in his abdomen.

* Haidee utterly demolishes Fernand's presidential campaign with her testimony, revealing that Fernand changed his last name and that he killed her father. When Fernand tries to have her removed for "slander" she responds quite succinctly "Shut your mouth Fernand Mondego!" And when Mercedes asks for proof, Haidee shows the brand on her neck that she was given as a slave. While Haidee later ends up regretting ruining the Albert and Mercedes' lives, Haidee's charisma as the former princess of Janina is on full display here.

In addition to that, Albert also holds his father in such high regard that even when Fernand has been slandered to hell and back, Albert still believes him. So it's all the more awesome when Albert calls the both of them out after a tense hostage situation, in which both he and Haidee could have died in a case of sins of our fathers moment.
