* "The Pandorica Opens" gives some great material to a lone Cyberman, practically getting the same amount of [=MoA=] on behalf of his species as the title character from "Dalek" in just one scene. Broken into pieces, the human inside having long rotted to uselessness, and it manages to get quite far in trying to take down the Doctor and Amy while being damn scary in the meantime.

[[note]] If you pay attention to Rory, you'll notice his alarmed expression when he sees a Silence creeping up behind River's back. River can shoot the Silence not because she knows it's a threat, but because she sees Rory's scared expression and unhesitatingly kills whatever he is reacting to. [[/note]]

* A really subtle one, but after she and the Doctor part ways, we can see that Amy picked herself up, re-acclimated to the world, and moved on with her life. Considering the Doctor's record with companions in the modern run, that's a serious accomplishment, especially considering where she started out.
* Craig is able to resist being turned into a Cyberman, return emotions to the existing Cybermen, and blow up their base all because [[ThePowerofLove he heard]] [[PapaWolf his infant son crying]].

** After the War Doctor blasts down the Daleks, the Gallifreyan Soldier notices one of them is still alive--a bisected Dalek ranting for someone to explain what "No More" means. He then proceeds to give it a ShutUpHannibal by blasting it in the eyestalk, causing it to ''explode'', in one of the most beautiful explosions in the history of the show. That soldier, whether he died or not, had balls of ''steel''.

* Bill managing to keep her mind after being converted, and survive realising what she's become. That takes a level of will few other characters have ever had (specifically, Yvonne Hartigan, TheBrigadier himself, Danny, and now her - yes, that's the ''complete'' list.)
** Not only that, but after the entire floor goes 'boom,' Bill is ''still alive!'' (This before Heather arrives, too; after the big explosion, she just walks up, the last Cyberman standing.) Either it's an AssPull or Bill used good ol' human ingenuity to find a safe place to spend the moments of that final burst.
* You gotta hand it to little Alit. The little girl had the guts to walk up to the Cybermen alone and throw the apple. Of course, she knew that they wanted to convert, not kill, her and she didn't have to get close enough to them for them to try to take her away, but still, it took more guts than your average eight-year-old. She's also the civilian who is least afraid of Cyber-Bill.
* The Doctor explains why he does what he does.

** The speech manages to get through to Missy, who decides that if she's going to die, she's going out with the Doctor - best friends, together, at the end. Unfortunately she dies before she can help.
* The Doctor versus a ton of Cybermen, both old and new. The Doctor wins, even if he (temporarily) dies in the process.
