This Troper and meta moment

** On a meta example, this SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome has its own moment of awesome, by being the longest entry of all Cardfight Vanguard Moment of Awesome.

** This might be the Crowning Moment of Awesome for Legion Mate in general, with Gaillard managing to channel the other two non-traitor Quatre Knights, showing exactly why his convictions are strong and beating down SmugSnake Cera, even after he showed a new trump card. And then, he adds even more by hitting Cera with both the normal and Memory versions of Judgement, after pointing out how Cera is not a Quatre Knight anymore, thus his brooch breaks and he's not immune to the latter anymore. Even this troper, who didn't like Legion Mate at all, found that moment incredibly awesome. It should be noted that in the middle of both Judgements, Cera tries to freeze everyone in place and attack Aichi, only to be stopped by Neve and Ratie, making this a moment of awesome for the entirety of the (now three) Quatre Knights, not just Gaillard.

* The game itself, after one and a half years since its debut, had ads on Website/TVTropes and Website/Youtube. And Bushiroad's president even quoted, the game itself gets lots of attention in the United States, even WITHOUT Bushiroad doing any active promotion in the States. Definitely awesome.
** That is an understatement. In that one and a half years, Vanguard has risen enough to be considered by many as a serious rival to Anime/YuGiOh of all things. This is a one and a half year old game being seen as a serious rival to one a decade old. It's speculated that a major reason why Konami pulled back on the Duel Terminals and the Yu-Gi-Oh video games is that they're losing ground to Vanguard (albeit there are other financial issues which could also be a cause). But that is still. Freaking. Awesome.

Up To Eleven is a defunct trope

* Ride 22: Aichi's first Ride of Soul Savior Dragon. He's literally on the edge of defeat after Gouki used Demonic Sea King Buskirk's Mega Blast (Soul blast 8 Counter blast 5) to set-up one of the most powerful fields he could. If Gouki gets another turn, Aichi loses. He proceeds to draw Soul Savior Dragon, which Kamui stated earlier (seen via flashback) he shouldn't use due to the difficulty. Aichi Rides Soul Savior Dragon and uses its Soul Blast, powering up his Rear Guards for a winning flurry of attacks. Not to mention the animation got kicked up about eleven gears to make the thing look damn freaking awesome.

** And the cream of the crop, the producers took the episode UpToEleven by highlighting the entire gattai sequence of Gouyusha into Daiyusha then Great Daiyusha!!! And Great Daiyusha was even voiced! And for the topping, we get Vanguard blaring in the background! Honestly, this episode has left many fans crying ManlyTears.

* Ride 100: Blazing Lion, Platina Ezel's first appearance. His appearance generates a BattleAura that whips up a gust so strong everyone has to brace themselves, completely throwing off Chris' prediction too. Aichi then uses his Ultimate Break to power up his entire field by 5000 each unit. Even if Chris uses sentinel, he still needs to rely on a heal trigger to survive. ThePowerOfFriendship indeed.

*** It gets EVEN better. Aichi activates Blond Ezel's LimitBreak, and picks up the card he will Superior Call. A montage of Aichi as Blaster Blade from Season one begins to play, ending with Aichi raising up the card and making a call not heard since the very beginning of Season 2.

** Not that this isn't an incredible feat, but we should point out that Ren was not using [=PSYqualia=] at the time, and therefore was not operating at his full strength in this tournament. Its how he was able to beat Aichi after all. Also, Ren wasn't using his Gold Paladin Deck, which was his main and strongest Deck at the time, but a Dark Irregular Deck he borrowed from Tetsu for apparently no real reason aside from not showing franchise cash cows Gold Paladins losing However you'd then forget hed still managed to play greatly with it without the use of [=PSYqualia=] and give Koutei a hell of a fight, he's just that skilled as a fighter.

** Team Caesar loses. Some may have predicted that. But possibly the most unexpected, incredible thing happened. Kenji beats Ren. Kenji beats Ren. Kenji beats Ren. This is not a joke, Kenji beats Ren!

** Koutei becomes not only the second Muggle to be able to pull off a Final Turn (the first being Kai), but also the first one to do so against a [=PSYqualia=] user, something even Kai himself failed to do.

!V Series
!!In General
* In this series the units are SuddenlyVoiced and the way a unit boosts is more creative instead of only glowing and giving the attacker more power. Examples range using a rear guard as a ride, connecting with them through cables or use them as a weapon! This really gives us the image that the units are alive and that the fighters are truly using their imagination to the fullest especially when you compare it to the original series.

* Image 3: A nice subversion of how their original fight went, where Aichi only had Gancelot as a Grade 3 against Kamui and ultimately lost after being overwhelmed. In this continuity, Aichi faces off against Kamui's Raizers which posed a great treat when coming after Aichi delivering 6 attacks. For Aichi though, he never believed he was going to lose and masterfully guards his attack. In addition, Aichi has a complete deck this time complete with Alfred Early and many good supporters and manages to run through Kamui.
* Image 9: The Cardfight betweeen Kai and Koutei shows us impressive plays and plans from both fighters.
** Koutei chooses to only give the power to Daiyusha, but not the critical which he gives to a rear guard, because Daiyusha's own Skill allows him to get an extra critical and bring Kai's damage to 4. This causes Kai to lose out on a heal trigger and he is forced to guard against Koutei's rear guard attack. Koutei also allows Dragonic Overlord's attack to hit him in order to decrease the amount of cards in Kai's hand. He even superior rides Great DaiyushaThis is also the first superior ride of this series and nearly defeated Kai. Kai even said that the fight could have gone either way.
** Kai manages to keep his calm during the fight and make good plays and judgements despite the massive amount of power Koutei's units have. He is able to guard against Koutei's attack with the heal trigger he drew in his second last turn and finish the game with Dragonic Overlord's attack.
* Image 10: This episode confirms that Aichi indeed has more than one copy of Blaster Blade in his deckIn Image 8 we saw Aichi talk to his Blaster Blade card for success and we saw the alternative art style Blaster Blade behind the one that he got from Kai, but we could only see the corners of the card making it hard to confirm unlike the original series, meaning he doesn't have to rely on luck to get a Blaster Blade to ride on. This also makes his two Alfreds, whose skills are reliant on Blaster Blade, more useful.
** Seeing Aichi somehow have a vision and intercept without even realizing it. It didn't last long, but showing the vision from Aichi's point of view (Rather than a third person perspective) was a very nice and awesome treat.
* Image 13: When Kyou defeats Kamui and scatters his deck on the ground. Nagisa tries to pick them up, but Aichi tells her she doesn't need to do that. Why? Because it's Kyou's job! This came from a boy that was once to shy to say something in class. Now he's saying something like that against a top member of a group that takes over other card shops. He also said this without any influence from [=PSYqualia=]!
* Image 14: Aichi defeating Kyou through [=PSYqualia=] which allows him to Superior Ride Soul Saver Dragon from his deck and give his units a lot of power. His victory does not only means that Voyage is safe, but also that Kyou has to follow his part of the agreement.
* Image 23: Aichi riding a Grade 4, Exculpate the Blaster! This unit can attack all the units of the opponent and then it turns back into Blaster Blade for yet another attack.
* Image 24: Kai's and Aichi's rematch, but unlike the manga, Aichi uses Exculpate the Blaster instead of Soul Saver Dragon and nearly beats Kai with it. However Kai's desire to defeat Aichi is so great that he awakens [=PSYqualia=] himself which allows him to survive and rides his own Grade 4, Transcendence Dragon, Dragonic Nouvelle Vague whose skills are specifically against [=PSYqualia=] users like Aichi and allows him to win the game.
* Image 41: Angry about Ibuki deleting Kyou's bond with Vanguard. Aichi actually takes Ibuki's deck from his hand to prevent him from fighting any other [=PSYqualia=] Zombies.

* Dimension 1: Misaki blackmailing the Student Council in accepting a Vanguard competition to save the Cardfight Club. She does this by realizing that the club permission sheet has the seal of approval of the council which means that president either didn't adhere to the regulations or he's bad at math. However either of them would be damaging to his career if it were to be revealed.
