* In the manga as well... [[spoiler:Rangiku Matsumoto]] is cornered by three Arrancar ladies as [[spoiler:Hitsugaya]] fights [[spoiler:Halibel]]. Guess who comes to the rescue in a GREAT BigDamnHeroes? [[spoiler:MOMO HINAMORI.]] Yes, one of the [[TheScrappy most hated characters]], who isn't fully healed of [[spoiler:her]] HUGE traumas but has at least assumed that there are things [[spoiler:she]] has to do. And even pulls a small Main/BatmanGambit by [[spoiler:using her kido to suppress her spiritual pressure and slip unnoticed towards the place Rangiku was fighting so she could join her without interruptions, AND then use her power to create a a huge explosion, while still having energy left to raise a barrier to protect herself and Rangiku.]]. ThisTroper was literally ''[[{{Squee}} squealing]]'' after reading said manga chapter, so overjoyed she was at all of this.

* In chapter 168-169, Lieutenants Rangiku Matsumoto and Izuru Kira face off during the Ryoka Arc. Kira reveals his sword's special ability to [[spoiler: double the weight with every strike]] and Matsumoto's sword crashes down on the roof tiles. As Kira smugly announces, "That's not a weight you can run around easily holding", Matsumoto delivers a {{Pre Asskicking One Liner}}, "So what? If I can't hold it and run...I just won't hold it" and [[spoiler: transforms to ash, nullifying Kira's Wabisuke attack and defeating him handily]]. Truly, a {{CMOA}}, with a side of {{I Am Not Left Handed}} and a soupcon of {{Out Gambitted}}.

* Aizen revealing that [[spoiler:he has the Hogokyu implanted in his body, making him basically unkillable even if they could damage him, and that Ichigo's entire life from ''the first chapter'' has been folding out according to Aizen's plan]]. Can something be awesome and a WallBanger at the same time?
** It's official. Aizen is XanatosRoulette incarnate.
*** To be more accurate, Aizen was probably only reading his reiatsu, and its power. Remember that he didn't know where the Hogyoku was until after Rukia left for the Human world, so anything up to Soul Society wasn't part of his plan. What he says is this: [[spoiler:"Kurosaki Ichigo. All your battles up until now have all been in the palm of my hand". Said palm was the one where Aizen was holding Ichigo's reiatsu.]] He arranged the fights with Grimmjow and Ulquiorra, but he still doesn't know the how behind Ichigo's growth after [[spoiler:killing Ulquiorra.]]
*** Nope, the latest chapter confirms that ''every'' battle he ever fought was arranged.

* As if the last chapter weren't clear enough, [[spoiler:Aizen explains that every battle Ichigo has ever fought was arranged to make him stronger, and that Aizen has been using him as some sort of research specimen. He's apparently known about Ichigo from ''the day he was born''. Which makes it perfect timing when Isshin pulls a BigDamnHeroes moment and shows up, as a shinigami, in front of his own son]].
** For some reason I just like the fact that Ichigo, a HotBlooded IdiotHero, [[spoiler:accepts there was probably a good reason for Isshin not to reveal he's a Shinigami and they'll talk about it later.]]
** [[spoiler:If Aizen's been arranging everything from the day Ichigo was born, that probably includes [[FridgeHorror his mother's death]]]]
* Chapter 398 features an absolutely EPIC moment, [[spoiler:Isshin sending Aizen flying through several buildings by [[http://www.mangareader.net/94-49861-17/bleach/chapter-398.html giving him the finger]]!]]
** This can interpret in two ways:
*** He is so good, he can perform Kido powerful enough to affect [[spoiler:Aizen]] without mumbling a single word.
*** He is so [[BeyondTheImpossible AWESOME]], he can send [[spoiler:[[GameBreaker Aizen]]]] flying just by [[spoiler:SNAPPING HIS FINGERS!]]
*** This troper prefers the first interpretation, because it means [[spoiler:Isshin]] went to [[HarryPotter Hogwarts]] to learn how to [[http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Nonverbal_spell cast spells without speaking the incantations out loud.]]

* [[spoiler:Don Kanonji]] is back! He even [[BreakingTheFourthWall breaks the fourth wall]] to announce the fact. Sure, he's useless, but it was still awesome.

* While fighting the hollow Shrieker, Chad rips a telephone pole out of the ground and hits him with it.

* Chapter 399 has Ichigo [[spoiler:totally gimping Gin's ''13 km long'' sword and hitting him with a getsuga tensho. Gin actually opens his eyes, which is saying something]].
* Chapter 400...has Isshin doing the impossible [[spoiler:Beating ''Aizen'' with nothing but his '''unreleased shikai'''... guess Aizen isn't so badass when fighting a Captain level Shinagami who HASN'T been hit by his Shikai.]]
** There is also Gin Ichimaru being dangerously genre savvy, he makes a big show of [[spoiler:how his Bankai makes his sword extend to 13 km]], but that was only to distract from the real threat, that it can [[spoiler:unextend and rextend at 384,000 MPH, meaning that his sword is basically a Gauss Rifle. If it extends while pointed at you...]]
*** Ichigo deserves some props too for figuring it out after one attack. Gin is actually a little impressed/disturbed by how quickly Ichigo saw through his act.
* Chapter 401...hoo boy. Aizen explains that[[spoiler:the Hougyoku's real power is to manifest the "hearts" of those around it; essentially, it caused Ichigo to absorb Rukia's power to the extent that he did (as well as giving Chad and Orihime their abilities), enabling the entire series.]] Can you say {{Ret Con}}?
** Doesn't that mean he is literally a walking {{Xanatos Roulette}}?
*** Actually, [[FridgeBrilliance if you think about it for a bit,]] [[spoiler:Ichigo absorbing Rukia's powers]] is a brilliant BatmanGambit. [[spoiler:If Aizen's really been watching Ichigo as long as he claims, there's no doubt he noticed Ichigo's uncanny resemblance to Kaien Shiba. Since the Hollow that killed Kaien and absorbed his memories was made by Aizen and ended up as one of Aizen's Espada, it's pretty much a given that he knew as much about Rukia as Kaien did. Aizen sent Rukia to Karakura Town anticipating that meeting Kaien's IdenticalStranger would bring up Rukia's lingering guilt over Kaien's death, and that those emotions would in turn trigger the Hougyoku.]]
**** Also [[spoiler:The Hougyoku giving Chad and Orihime their powers]] isn't that much of a Retcon, since they never really gave an adequate explanation for them in the first place.
** BigDamnHeroes from [[spoiler:Urahara. Way to finally get off your ass, Hat 'N' Clogs]].
* Chapter 402 [[spoiler:has Urahara use nothing but kido spells to trick Aizen into blowing himself up. Of course, we have to wait until the next chapter to see if it sticks.]]
** [[spoiler: That just doesn't do it credit. Urahara pulls the same trick he used on Yammy to fool Aizen long enough to hit him with a low level binding spell. When Aizen points out it won't hold him for more than a few seconds Urahara uses those few seconds to pile on MORE binding spells to hold Aizen long enough to recite a LEVEL NINETY ONE kido spell and nuke Aizen into little bits. Then when the Hogukou brings Azien back Urahara tricks him AGAIN, points out the whole thing was to place seals on Aizen. At which point Aizen gets blasted with ALL HIS OWN POWER. He outmaneuvered Captain Broken three times, in one chapter.]] AWESOME!!
* Chapter 403 is nothing but this for everyone involved:
** For starters [[spoiler:Urahara is GenreSavvy enough to know that Aizen could survive the Kido blast.]]
** Aizen [[spoiler:admits that if he weren't powered up by the Hogyoku, Urahara would have beaten him.]]
** Aizen [[spoiler:finally shows off his real fighting style beyond the "stand there, use illusions, single slash to the stomach when they let their guard down" strategy he's been using on people he's already hypnotized, and it's... leaping about like a gymnast, using high kicks and spinning jumps. It's actually really nice to watch.]]
** [[spoiler:[[BigDamnHeroes Yoruichi]]!]]
** [[spoiler:...who actually manages to hurt Aizen more than anyone we've seen so far!]]
* Chapter 405 [[spoiler: Yoruichi nails Aizen with shunko to distract him so that Urahara can use a couple of Benihime's special attacks on him. Which is all so that Aizen doesn't notice Ishin charging up a GETSUGA TENSHO which cuts him in half.]]
* What, no mention of Gin giving a little TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to Ichigo, telling him he's too weak?
-> "You. '''Run.'''"
* 406 is either a CMOA or a CMOS...[[spoiler: Aizen is unharmed and instantly one-shots the isshin and the others. Then he reveals his true form...that of himself with a mullet. Yeah that's right Aizen's final form is him with a mullet. After that he says he'll go to the Soul Society to make the Ouken. In a sense, [[spoiler: Aizen just won the war single-handed, primarily because of the Hogyoku, though]].
** And even with all of this, there's [[spoiler: Isshin ''getting up'' after taking all of this beating and telling Ichigo "[[http://www.mangareader.net/94-52554-19/bleach/chapter-406.html Let's go. We WILL protect Karakura]]. Ichigo may have been paralyzed and for good reason, but Isshin is still not giving up - FUCKING HELL, THE MAN IS AWESOME.]]
* [[spoiler: Isshin]]'s already quoted awesome goes double in 407, as [[spoiler: [[GetAHoldOfYourselfMan he keeps calling Ichigo out]] [[http://www.mangareader.net/94-53161-10/bleach/chapter-407.html to get him out of his]] HeroicBSOD.]] And now, it ''works''.

** Useless? He NAILS AIZEN IN THE FACE WHILE SHOUTING HIS CATCHPHRASE!!!
*** To put it in another way: TheHero Ichigo was so scared by the sheer PRESENCE of Aizen he lost his will to fight... but [[spoiler: Don Kanonji]] TOTALLY IGNORED HIM! And then he started to feel the pressure of Aizen´s reitatsu... He didn´t even need to think twice AND ATTACKED HIM!
**** By appearing there, he bought [[spoiler:Matsumoto]] some time to help prevent [[spoiler:Tatsuki from dying at Aizen's hands.]] That's right, he not only actually attacked him, he saved [[spoiler:Tatsuki's]] life by buying some time. So, not quite useless. [[spoiler:"[[BadassBoast Don't you realize you're talking to a hero]]?"]]. Indeed she was. This isn't about power or skill.
**** Indeed. After all, the first rule of being [[TheHero a hero]] requires that whatever you're about to do, you must stand your ground.
* Remember Keigo?[[spoiler: You know, who ran after Tatsuki told him to?]]. Well, he went [[spoiler: TO GET A SWORD TO DEFEND THEM BOTH.]] Granted, it's not his, but that kid's still got balls
** This is nothing against the sheer [[CrazyAwesome Crazy Awesomeness]] of the other one of ThoseTwoGuys: Mizuiro was [[spoiler:completly unfazed about the invincible Aizen, even after he survived an explosion!]]
*** [[spoiler: An explosion]] HE caused - double CMOA for him.
** [[spoiler: Keigo gets a moment to shine, too - after seeing said explosion and result, he remembers that Aizen looks like an Arrancar, which Ikkaku was able to hit his his zanpaku-tou, and so he turns around to try and test it out. Luckily [[ChewToy Zennosuke]] comes and saves him, but it was still a pretty cool moment to see TheSoCalledCoward pull off.]]
** And what of [[spoiler: Zennosuke's save itself]]? Another joke character that meant little to nothing [[spoiler: attacking AIZEN]]. Once again, ineffective, but bought time.
** Then there is [[spoiler: Chizuru]] finally calling them out for hiding stuff from her. And you thought she was just a [[spoiler: nympho lesbian with a thing for Orihime]]. I tell you, this mini-arc is where all secondary characters show that they, too, can be AWESOME.

* [[spoiler:Aizen]] got a beautiful one recently, after explaining how [[spoiler: everything that has ever happened in the story ever is the result of his actions and direction.]]
--> "Did you not once find any of it to be strange? Did you think that your encounters were fate? Did you think those attacks were mere coincidences? [[UnwittingPawn Did you think that your victories...were a result of your efforts?"]]
* Gin in 414. [[spoiler:He reveals that he knows the one weakness to Aizen's complete hypnosis, and uses it to stab him in the heart. Then he reveals that his sword's ability isn't what he's been telling everyone. It can turn into a dust which destroys the cells from within, and he just left a piece of that dust in Aizen's heart. Cue most of Aizen's chest simply vanishing into nothingness. Even if/when Aizen survives it, that was pure, undiluted awesome.]]
** It's hard to overstate how awesome that was. In a series where '''everyone''' explains their ability in full before using it, Gin [[spoiler: lied about his bankai, fooling even the '''readers'''.]]
* Even though [[spoiler:Aizen survives]], Gin keeps on rolling in the next chapter. [[spoiler:He apparently knew the poison wouldn't be enough to do the job, so he stole the Hougyoku out of the now empy space where Aizen's chest was to finish it. Aizen cheated, of course, and became a [[OneWingedAngel six-winged butterfly]] in the process, but that was still pretty awesome. Better still, Gin has apparently been planning this since the day he met Aizen, apparently for no other reason than his cronies attacked Rangiku.]]
** To make this clear: [[spoiler:HE. [[OutGambitted OUT GAMBITTED]]. [[CrazyPrepared AIZEN]]!]] No wonder [[spoiler:Aizen]] was so pissed off.
* As of Chapter 417 [[spoiler: Ichigo is about to duel Aizen, but suggests they move to another spot, away from his friends and family, so that they can finish each other off without hurting anyone else. Aizen scoffs at him, merely commenting that moving would be pointless, as he plans to kill Ichigo and then demolish the rest of Karakura Town shortly afterward. Before he can finish, Ichigo comes barreling out of nowhere and delivers a truly awesome, well-deserved FacePalmOfDoom, '''leaping up into the air WITH his hand still in Aizen's face'' to a more secluded area, '''THROWING AIZEN TO THE FLOOR AND DESTROYING THE GROUND AS AIZEN WAS PROPELLED DOWNWARDS'''. Aizen, understandably, is not pleased, but Ichigo has once again proven his total badassery due to that moment.]]
** What makes it even more awesome is that [[spoiler: freaking Aizen]] has no clue how it happened. [[spoiler: He can't sense ''any'' reiatsu from Ichigo at all, which led to thinking that Ichigo failed to get any stronger. Ichigo made Captain Butterfly bleed with ''nothing but brute strength''.]]
** Well, it may well be THE most awesome moment in the last twenty episodes, considering [[spoiler: Aizen was constantly leveling up, mocking move after move done against him, up to a point that would make [[DragonBall Frieza, Cell and Boo]] wet their pants. Ichigo, the same person who was afraid to do a single strike against Aizen when he caught him ''off-guard'', only needs ONE transformation to give our well-behated [[VillainSue Captain]] [[BoringInvincibleVillain Broken]] a well-deserved ass-kicking!]]
** You know what else? [[spoiler: Gin could tell Ichigo was ready. Gin could see something the CrazyPrepared Aizen couldn't.]]
* Chapter 418: [[spoiler:Aizen crushes the landscape with a single swordstroke! Ichigo is completely unfazed. Aizen swings at Ichigo with insane Speed! Ichigo [[BarehandedBladeBlock blocks it with his hand]]. Aizen actually gets off his lazy ass and performs the full-power chant for the Black Coffin spell, showing us exactly what he meant when he said that it was a "failure" the first time he used it! Ichigo shatters the magic without a single word. Ichigo explains to Aizen that he ''is'' stronger than Aizen now, and asks Aizen if he's scared of something he can't understand. Finally, Ichigo explains that the sword that broke the landscape wasn't Aizen's... it was ''his!'']] It says a lot when someone who's been a SmugSnake through basically the entire manga has a VillainousBreakdown.
** Just because this bears repeating. [[spoiler:Ichigo is curbstomping Aizen. ''Ichigo is Curpstomping Aizen''. ''ICHIGO IS CURBSTOMPING AIZEN''.]]
** Would it be awesome or stupid if [[spoiler: Aizen, after spending most of the series being a smug VillainSue]] ended up being an AnticlimaxBoss? I'm not even sure anymore.
** I've been pretty much expecting [[spoiler: Aizen]] to be an AnticlimaxBoss, but this is ridiculous. It's somewhere between [[CrowningMomentOfAwesome really awesome]] and [[DeusExMachina really]] [[{{Wallbanger}} stupid]]. Still, out of context it was a pretty good [[CurbStompBattle "fight"]].
*** It ain't over till its over folks, so let change our pants and keep watching. More CMOA are on the way!
** I just love how Aizen got '''AIZEN'd!''' Ichigo simply returned the favor way back when Aizen stopped his sword with a finger.
** FINALLY someone touches on how IRONIC this is. [[spoiler: Recap: Sogyoku Hill, Aizen has just revealed himself as the BigBad, complete with a BarehandedBladeBlock of Ichigo's blade. Which Ichigo repeats in 418, complete with the winning line of "Is it so strange that I could block it barehanded?" And then Aizen goes for a full Black Coffin Kido (y'know, the one that OWNED Komamura once upon a time), and Ichigo's not even phased. All the while, as Aizen is gibbering and slipping closer to a VillainousBreakdown, Ichigo [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech is calmly stating that he is now stonger.]] It's an absolute AssPull, but damn if it isn't [[HoistByHisOwnPetard worth it.]]]]
* Chapter 420: [[spoiler:Mugetsu. That is all.]]
** [[spoiler:Mugetsu]] is only part of [[spoiler:the Final Getsuga Tensho]], which has Ichigo [[spoiler:become Getsuga. This troper thought Getsuga was part of the name of an attack. Apparently, he's a separate being.]]
** What makes this even better is the sight of [[spoiler: Aizen's VillainousBreakdown reaching its peak.]] Even if some AssPull [[spoiler: leaves Aizen alive while leaving Ichigo defenseless, Aizen will have to live with the fact that someone was able to surpass the power he spent decades scheming to obtain.]]
* Somewhat defusing the awesome of the above, [[spoiler:Aizen maanges to live through Ichigo's ultimate attack, albeit severely weakened, and has him dead to rights. However, Urahara shows up, and reveals that he planted a kido seal in Aizen way back when Aizen was first using the Hogokyu to evolve, which causes the Hogokyu to reject Aizen as its master. Aizen goes off on a rant about how Urahara, a genius like himself, should be siding with him, which Urahara calmly denies. Aizen [[KilledMidSentence doesn't even get to finish his rant]] before the seal completely envelops him.]]
** It's still awesome in a way. [[spoiler: Yeah, the attack didn't work, but Ichigo did reduce Aizen to a shrieking SmugSnake. It's likely this is why the Hogyoku no longer considered him a worthy master. Urahara did mention that the only reason the seal was working was because the Hogyoku let it happen.]]
** Either way, very few thing could detract from the awesome fact that [[spoiler:Aizen. Is. ''Gone''. Who cares who technically landed the last blow?]]
** This troper is disappointed that the [[spoiler:Final Getsuga Tensho]] didn't last longer. Still, seeing Aizen in such a state was satisfying. But didn't Kubo [[spoiler:say that there would be an Isshin arc followed by one last story arc?]]

* Nolove for Kukaku?! Woman fired Ichigo out of a fucking ''fire works canon and into the Sereitei''! And what about her showing up to help Yoruichi and the minor asskicking she did there (not great compared to others but still). That woman definitely NeedsMoreLove on this page.
** Agreed, so very much. In the scene with the three giants, ''Kukaku knocks one of them flat on his ass with a single spell,'' distracting (?) Aizen enough to keep him from getting away.
* Ichigo himself had his first real "WOW" moment when he forcibly prevents the Soukyoku from executing Rukia. The Soukyoku supposedly has the power of a million [[EmpathicWeapon zanpakutous]], and he blocks it with ''one''. He follows this up by destroying the base (with defensive power of the same magnitude), and promptly taking out three vice-captains at the same time, with his ''bare hands''.
* His final line in a recent episode (one which this troper firmly holds was a one big Crowning Episode of Awesome, and nothing short of the best episode the series had so far): [[spoiler:Ichigo, with his mask on, is getting beaten around pretty bad by Grimmjow, and it doesn't help that Orihime is understandably terrified of his [[SuperpoweredEvilSide Hollow Form]]. After an inspiring speech from Nel, however, she yells at him, begging at him not to die: "I don't care if you don't win, but please don't get injured any more!". Upon hearing this, [[HeroicResolve Ichigo opens his semi-closed eyes]], looks at Grimmjow while grinning, and uttering "Sorry Grimmjow. Looks like I can't afford to get injured, any more". He then proceeds to cut him.]]
** Whoa hold on there, you are forgetting the best part! [[spoiler: While Orihime is speaking to Ichigo, Grimmjow is rushing at him roughly at the speed of violence to deliver the finishing blow, and Ichigo, [[OffhandBackhand without even turning around]], sticks his hand and out and catches Grimmjows claw so quickly it stops him in his tracks!]] The icing on the cake was [[ThisIsGonnaSuck the look on his opponent's face.]]
** Even when Ulquiorra beaten him senseless, [[{{Determinator}} he still put defiance and will to fight.]] So much that Ulquiorra decides the only way he'll shut up is to [[spoiler:PERMANENTLY KILL HIM.]]
*** For me that was a CMOA for Ulquiorra.
*** And with that action, he made Ichigo, [[{{Determinator}} whose will of life can only be compared with the likes of]] [[SaintSeiya "Cockroach Saint"]], [[spoiler:[[TookALevelInBadass completely evolved into true hollow,]] which proceeded to cut his arm off. And bitch-slap him in the face with it.]] [[NiceJobFixingItVillain VEEERY nice job, Ulquiorra.]]

* ...the part where Aizen [[BarehandedBladeBlock blocks Ichigo's Bankai]] with his ''finger'', also cutting short his ThemeMusicPowerUp in the process. [[{{Badass}} Bad. Ass.]] Not to mention the part where he wipes away his "harmless scholar" facade by crushing his glasses with two fingers and slicking his hair back with a hand, all while rising up in a pillar of light and claiming "I will stand in Heaven" (the English dub phrases it as "I will stand at the top" in an ''incredibly'' awkward attempt to avoid any religious connotations). Epic much?

** What makes this even better is the sight of [[spoiler: Aizen's VillainousBreakdown reaching its peak.]] Even some Asspull [[spoiler: leaves Aizen alive while leaving Ichigo defenseless, Aizen will have to live with the fact that someone was able to surpass the power he spent decades scheming to obtain.]]
