* ''Series/LukeCage2016'': Shades is a somewhat odd example because the narrative establishes that he is at least bisexual. It's revealed that he had a past sexual relationship with his friend Comanche in prison that is heavily implied to be more than just SituationalSexuality. In the end he comes off less as a bisexual and more as a gay man who fears that being open would harm his street cred.

* ''Series/SpinCity'': One episode featured the Mayor's nephew, who was basically a walking CampGay stereotype that loudly and obnoxiously hit on women at every opportunity, worked as a "closet organiser" and said the word "closet" roughly every three lines. Due to being a bit of an UpperClassTwit he embodies a lot of stereotypical gay mannerisms (such as dressing formally with lots colorful sweater vests and [[AllGaysLoveTheater loving musical theatre]]), and his ProfessionalButtKisser behaviour can cause him to come across as overly complimentary towards other men. Hilariously, even Andy seems to get caught up in the ambiguity of it all, and when Michael starts a rumour that Andy is gay, he becomes convinced that he must actually be that way.
