Peteman: I remember reading this funny commentary about a GM who said he'd run any RPG book if the players provided them. I remember the players going into detail about how they defiled the female character by urinating and defecating on her and eventually the exasperated GM asked "Who are you people?" with the response "We're the aristocrats!" I think that review would be good in the quote section. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Willy Four Eyes: I think even the Aristocrats would be shamed by being associated with this...

Crowley: This is it, right?

So I read the rulebook and read the name list for the races, and it seems to happen that the name list for humans are European, and other races are fantastic names, except for Kobolds, which uses common Indonesian names. Any trope does this apply to? O.o

Psyga315 Thinks Aerith and Bob applys to the above.

I had a thought and I think it's I Take Offense to That Last One, since this troper has read the rulebook and it's well, long and verbose, but nothing really bad. Even all the squick is tolerable. But using Indonesian names? UNFORGIVABLE! (Yes, this troper is Indonesian).

Count Dorku: Whatever sinks your boat; I was offended that it actually included words, which didn't deserve to be treated so badly.

McJeff: So, I just had this random thought. The tag line is that the dice never lie, but aside from you being able to roll things that are physically impossible (stabbing the spine without hitting anything in front of it, for example), it actually says in the book that you can re-roll if the dice gives you "nonsense"... so in other words, the dice do lie.

I don't know which one, but there's gotta be a trope to cover that.

Count Dorku: I can think of a few.
