Describe Romantic Plot Tumor Discussion here.

Paragon Do D: The Genshiken example doesn't actually count since the anime doesn't finish the story anyway. In the manga it's not shoehorned in the way the example says.

Anonymous Mc Cartneyfan: Cut this and put it here, for now. It's not enough to compare the films to the books this time because the books had very little Arwen in them. Since Aragorn and Arwen remain the Official Couple in the films, Jackson had to work Arwen in more to avoid it being just a Last-Minute Hookup between Aragorn and some elven lady we hardly know. It also likely reduced the Aragorn/Eowyn shipping.

Unknown Troper: And again. Had to pull the same thing a second time.

Danel: So, uh... This is a subjective trope like whoa.

Janitor: What's the "take that" by having the redirect?

Doktor von Eurotrash: As far as I'm aware, the second (2002) film version of Solaris focused almost solely on the main character's love story, but this might be better added by someone who's seen the film and read the book. I don't even know if the protagonist *had* a love story in the book.
