From YKTTW

Tabby: Hell, I want to play Lady Macbeth, and I haven't acted since I was nine.

Seth: The problem here is that the YKTTW you launched was from an unfinished discussion on a different trope. Half way through someone pitched this one and suggested the idea Evil Is Cool - but the original trope discussion (On religious people depicted as evil/perverted/stupid) is gone from YKTTW now.

Fast Eddie: The ykttw was just some anonymous bible-thumper trolling around, I thought, and the trope was addressed in comments with a stack of evidence they ignored. Boring. The Evil Is Cool idea was interesting, though.

Seth: If you say so - though there was some merit to that guys post. Defintly worth a paragraph in Strawman Political at least. (Never mind i re-read and noticed that an expansion was placed in Acceptable Targets)

I'm surprised that we didn't have this trope yet. Everyone always wants to be evil when they play as kids or in TabletopRPGs (Chaotic Neutral anyone?). I have promptly linked this... everywhere.

Fast Eddie: <reads back through the discussion> Hmm. Pretty good case for a trope there constructed along a religious-atheist axis similar to the liberal-conservative axis of Strawman Political. Strawman Reglious, possibly. I'll take a stab at it. // later: Nebermind. The addition to Acceptable Targets scooped it up.

Daibhid C: Just out of interest, was The Last Avengers story published before or after Guards! Guards! where the Patrician says much the same thing? And are there any other examples of similar quotes?

Dales Kaine: About the picture, would anyone mind if I put Grimmjow Jaggerjeaques from Bleach?
