I need opinions here...getting some time away from this one has me thinking that 'RightOutOfTheirClothes' is such a mess because it has SEVERAL tropes buried in it, like... * TravellingAtTheSpeedOfBared (This is high speed movement causing the wearer or nearby spectators to lose their clothes/fur/etc.; can even be 'nearby characters losing their hats when a character blows by') * HighImpactNudity (This trope, with some of the description and examples split away) * GivingThemTheStrip (When an immobile object is the thing keeping someone at bay until they ditch the clothing item, but still done for laughs) * TheNudifier (when the gag is pretty much about ripping a character's clothes off) For example, when I look at Peter Rabbit, at GivingThemTheStrip, I see: * Peter winds up abandoning all his clothes in the course of escaping the garden. But the truth is, his shoes are lost basically in TravellingAtTheSpeedOfBared (he just plain loses his shoes while running fast as he can, 'Oops!'), while his jacket IS taken off by him because he's caught in a fencing (thus IS GivingThemTheStrip). Can I get some thoughts on this? Am I close to on the right track?
