* There was a comedian - possibly GeorgeCarlin, I'm not 100% on that - who had a short routine about this.  Paraphrased:
-->Want to if you're upper class, middle class, or lower class?  Look at where your name is at work.
-->If your name is on the building, you're in the upper class.  If it's on your door, you're middle class.  If it's on your shirt, you're lower class.
* On ''Series/{{Friends}}'' Ross names his son Ben after a series of mishaps which befall Ross and his ex-wife's partner at the hospital while she's busy having the baby; at one point there is a janitor's coverall involved which has the name 'Ben' on it. Prior to that they were feuding over what to name him.  (We never meet the original Ben.)
* On ''TheBennyHillShow'' Benny gets slapped after seeing a waitress with the nametag "Pat" on her chest - naturally he [[DirtyOldMan reads this as an instruction]] rather than as her name.
* Many a ProfessionalWrestler with t-shirt merchandise to sell will be seen wearing a shirt with his own name/logo/etc.  Examples include [[MickFoley Cactus Jack]], TripleH, StoneColdSteveAustin and [[DwayneJohnson The Rock]].
