Now, how do you apply the tag "Needs more examples"...
^^ Remember that PeopleSitOnChairs doesn't mean something that occurs all the time in RealLife. It means something without any particular narrative meaning, something that doesn't convey any information to the audience. Some possible meanings for this trope: * "...artists find something cute and charming about a young woman losing a shoe as she is running..." (from the description) * A woman is being pursued by a monster: losing the shoe means she can't run as well and is in greater danger of being caught/killed/etc. ** Or she realizes this and takes off the other shoe as well, showing she's intelligent. * Losing a shoe makes it awkward to walk in general, not just running. This makes the character appear more vulnerable, clumsy, etc. To count for this trope, there has to be a reason within the story why the shoe is coming off. If it's just (for example) a woman taking off her shoes before going to sleep, it isn't this trope.
