I asked about very nearly this on LostAndFound not so long ago (I can't figure out how to get a link to a specific LostAndFound entry - search for "recipe"):

> What's the trope for when you have either an ingredients list or a recipe for some sort of food, and it starts off sounding reasonable but about halfway down it starts including things you really don't want in your food, e.g. red fuming nitric acid? Examples include the grog recipe from The Secret Of Monkey Island, the cake recipe from Portal, and the hot sauce recipe from The Diamond Age.  I'm sure we have this, but it's not Unfortunate Ingredients and nothing else on Food Tropes seems to be it either.

Suggestions were BreadEggsMilkSquick and AlienLunch, neither of which feels quite right to me (but I might be a splitter).  This is what I said about the former:

> Kinda, but not really; that's about the ''reaction'' to the unexpected last thing on the list, and most of the examples are not recipes.  All three of the examples above get ''no'' reaction from characters; it's the ''audience'' who's expected to go "wait, what?" while the narration breezes cheerfully on.  And it's usually not just the last thing on the list, either.
