FoeYay is usually the shipping. FoeRomanceSubtext is the actual subtext. This trope is not so much on the foe aspect, so much as the obsession aspect.  Example:
* [[{{Pokemon}} Misty]] spends nearly 500 episodes chasing around Ash, due to a broken bike needing to be repaid. At some point, she follows him around anyway, having completely forgotten the original grievance (until of course, he brings it up again).

(I'm not including this as an example, because it's not ''really'' revenge-related, but you get the point, it's more about the payback issue than them being foes or rivals. It may include FoeYay, but it needs the revenge aspect.)

I'm gonna look at the lyrics of Lady Gaga's Bad Romance, and decide...

Well, it's sort of unclear. On her part, it's more FoeYay and a bit of CasualKink. On his part, yes, probably but it's never established what the "revenge" she wants from him is.

Actually, Revenge does have some traces of this... but not to the object of the revenge (more toward the collateral targets)
