!!White Cats White furred Snowbell from ''Film/StuartLittle'' is the pet of the wealthy Little family. He isn't precisely good, though. ''Film/JamesBond'' Dr. No had a white persian cat. The cat's morality was not an issue, but it was definitely representative of the vilain's wealth. ''Film/TheAristocats" has examples of several colored cats. The Duchess is white because she belongs to a wealthy Parisienne. Her kittens are different colors. The girl is white like her mother. The boys are grey and orange and more scrappy than their mother and sister. Thomas O'Malley is solid orange rather than striped, and is a freewheeling sort. The Siamese are two-toned, light and dark, but due to racial attitudes at the time, are portrayed as evil. !!Orange Cats ''WesternAnimation/Heathcliff'': Orange and fat but not lazy as such. Riff Raff, the leader of the Cadillac Cats, is also orange and sort of stout. ''WesternAnimation/Garfield": is Orange striped and fat and lazy. ''Literature/HarryPotter": Crookshanks is a subversion. He's orange and fat, but not lazy. He's heroic and rather active because he's a mystical feline. ''Literature/HarryDresden:'' Harry's cat Mister is orange. He's fat and lazy when at home, but he's a street brawler when he's out and about. ''WesternAnimation/HongKongPhooey:'' Spot, the hero's cat, was more yellow than orange, and fat, but was emphatically not lazy. !! Grey Cats ''WesternAnimation/InspectorGadget'' Mad Cat: Grey with black and white stripes. Definitely evil. !! Black Cats ''Film/BedknobsAndBroomsticks:'' Cosmic Creepers is a black cat who is a Witch's familiar. ''Film/HocusPocus:'' Binx is a heroic black cat, but that's because he was cursed by the Sandersons. ''ComicBook/Archie'': Sabrina's cat Salem is a black cat who tends toward laziness and mischief. He may qualify as a witch's familiar. He is a warlock cursed into cat form. This may only apply for the TV versions of Sabrina rather than the comics. !! White Dogs * Ahnuld the dog from ''WesternAnimation/TinyToonAdventures'' was arrogant and egotistical, but technically good as his job was "security guard". * The titular ''WesternAnimation/TuffyPuppy'' is a white dog who fights evil. * ''Film/Bolt'' is a white dog who is notably heroic in his ShowWithinAShow and in what he discovers is regular life. !! Black Dogs * ''Literature/HarryPotter'': The Black Dog is considered a portent of bad luck and evil, but the one that shows up is not evil at all. ** Remus, who is good while human and just savage as a wolf is a lighter shade of grey than Fenrir Greyback who is evil in both forms. !! Brown Dogs * Monroe the pug from ''WesternAnimation/TheLifeAndTimesOfJuniperLee'' is a two-toned brown dog. * Mouse the dog from ''Literature/HarryDresden'' is extremely good as he is a mystical dog with AmplifiedAnimalAptitude because he is a literal protective guardian Foo Dog. He is brown and white. !! Brown and Black Bats Brown bats are usually good. Black bats are usually evil. * ''Film/{{Ferngully}}:'' Batty Koda is a brown fruit bat and is good, if a little screwloose due to having been experimented on. !! Unnatural Colors * ''WesternAnimation/CourageTheCowardlyDog'' is indisputably good and heroic. He's sort of pinkish-purple. * ''Nacho Bear'' from CartoonNetwork's "wedgies" series is yellow-orange, like nacho cheese. He's usually simply in support of eating nachos, but is heroic when circumstances warrant. * ''WesternAnimation/WinnieThePooh'' is honey-colored, in keeping with his love for the stuff. * The Bear from the "Grim and Evil" sections of ''WesternAnimation/TheGrimAdventuresOfBillyAndMandy'' is pink. He's actually a vehicle for the brain of an evil scientist though. !! Pink Animals Pink animals are usually cute or good. * ''WesternAnimation/GravityFalls'' Waddles the pig is good and afraid of evil character Gideon Gleeful. * ''WesternAnimation/CharlottesWeb'' Wilbur the pig is good. * ''WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes'' Porky Pig is mild mannered as compared to arrogant and obnoxious Daffy (Black) and mischievous, playful Bugs (Grey). !! White Mice * ''Film/TheRescuers'': Bianca and Bernard are both heroic white mice, though the other mice in the movie are varying shades of brown. * ''Film/TheGreatMouseDetective:'' All the heroic mice in the movie are shades of brown. Evil Ratigan is a grey rat. * The Fievel movies have brown mice.
