it is '''generally''' assumed that characters with big muscles must be strong. In '''most''' media, this compels creators to depict strong characters as with hulking muscular builds, '''often''' disregarding what kind of build people in any given activity would be likely to have, for fear not doing so would risk forcing the audience out of the story.

The paragraph on large characters is no more absolute than '''frequently''', '''usually''' used in the small characters. The only difference is that it is longer.

Plus there are roughly 15 examples that do mention both cases of size expectation, pretty much every wrestling example, both live action television cases and every comic book example except for the King Pin, and even then, King Pin is pretty agile as a "subversion" so I'd maybe bump that to 16. There are then 15 or 16 examples, if you are being generous in the other way, that  are ''just'' "these ones have big muscles and are strong" but I'm wondering how much of that is simply misuse resulting from the new name?

ForceAndFinesse at least had a YouKnowThatThingWhere but still no laconic. I might have to give one to that page too. That one seems to be more about method than size, but I haven't really taken it all in yet to know what my current opinion is of all this yet. I still think Muscles Are Meaningful is a terrible name and needs to be changed, but am going to rethink its relationship to Force And Finesse, this page, whether I'm still against its launching or maybe if one of the older two should just be put on the chopping block.
