^ I personally think the title is good as is. I actually refer to "Dog Kicks Littler Dog" by name in the intro and there are only ''some'' cases where there's a whole chain involving at least four people. Here is an example of a "Dog Kicking Chain" from HarryPotter: Morfin and Marvolo Gaunt physically and emotionally abuse Merope Gaunt, who then essentially rapes Tom Riddle Sr. by bewitching him into infatuation for her. When she stops bewitching him and comes clean to him, Tom Riddle Sr. then kicks up ''and'' down the line by abandoning Merope while she's pregnant with their unborn son. Said unborn son grows up to become Voldemort, an abuser of many Death Eaters in his service, including Severus Snape, to whom he promised that he would spare his Muggle-born love interest only to kill her anyway. Severus Snape then ends up becoming a SadisticTeacher to multiple Hogwarts students.

Other than that, there are few chains of this sort and most are the standard TroubledAbuser who is abusing one or more people at present as well as having a troubled backstory and/or being on the current receiving end of mistreatment by someone else who isn't revealed to be troubled themselves.

ETA: In some cases, there's only two people involved in the TroubledAbuser sequence, making it nowhere close to a chain. An abuser with a DeadLittleSister who died of cancer, for example, wasn't kicked by a ''person'', per se, because his little sister's cancer just happened right out of the blue and it's the set of unfortunate circumstances that kicked him in the ass.
