* Parodied in the DoctorWhoExpandedUniverse novel ''The Crooked World'', which features a planet based on WesternAnimation children's cartoons. A news story is mentioned about a woman who "thought her infant son looked a little red in the face", found him to be "six sticks of dynamite", and later couldn't "explain how the explosives came to be in her pram." She throws them in the air, still swaddled, and they land on a passing train. Also, not a tangent, it all connects up via weird cartoon logic: Fitz's GirlOfTheWeek has no concept of sex, he ([[LovableSexManiac of course]]) does, and they confuse each other to the point that she writes to the DeliveryStork to bring them a baby. It drops the actual baby in a jungle, where it will "inevitably" be [[WildChild raised by]] [[MisplacedWildlife wolves]], and sees something wrapped in blankets going past on a train, picks that up, and delivers the still-undetonated dynamite to Fitz. And Fitz, being the avuncular but not paternal type, is somewhat relieved by the fact that at least it's not a baby.
