ChildrenAreAWaste seems specifically selfish- children are a drag on why I want to do, so no kids.

ChildHater is on the extreme end of this, being a villain trope, and some of the examples would be moved here - Alan from JurassicPark definitely dislikes kids, not hates them.

From what I know, BenCrowshaw and Bob Newhart definitely fit this. I don't know about {{Splice}}, and Katniss is doing so due to outside forces.

I intend this as a CharacterTrait, something that is part of how the audience views the character. It can also be a view of the author too, but I'm not sure how to go about reflecting that.

The most immediate influence on the trope is QuestionableContent- the artist and every character that's commented on the subject says something to the effect of "kids? Ew. Never having them."

The confusion is partially my own- the original title was BabiesAreIcky, and I started writing about that, but I felt that was limiting (since if the character envisions babies as constantly crying, they always seem to regard kids as constantly whining too)and changed partway through. I think that muddled the idea, so I welcome suggestions. In the meantime I'll work on the intro.
