I was thinking that in some cases there are many valid candidates; the chooser must pick one for them to become TheChosenOne. (Voldemort)  But in other cases there is only one "correct" choice, but a choser is needed to actually transform them into TheChosenOne, give them a CallToAdventure, or simply find / identify them (John the Baptist).  I'm assuming this would cover all of these possible subtropes?
