I do like the Oglaf strip. My only problem with it is that neither the armor (nor the embarrassing characteristic) are actually sources of power, ''per se''. It's just ordinary armor, the blacksmith's skills notwithstanding. That, and the embarrassing characteristic is rather easily overlooked and could be hidden. It could even be conceivably removed without damaging the armor or removing its power. The current image is more over-the-top and obviously embarrassing, and there's no way of getting around it.

I do support the expansion of the trope's scope, though.

Edit: Misread that. I *somewhat* support the expansion of the trope's scope to include certain things that aren't technically outfits. E.g: An embarrassing scar or tattoo so long as the mark in question is also the direct source of power, and I agree with [=MiinU=] about the alternative title being too [=dialogue-y=].

When the source of embarrassment is caused by the power ''itself'', then that character is BlessedWithSuck. For example, a hypothetical Halitosis Man who has [[IncrediblyLamePun really powerful]] breath would not be this trope, even if the breath causes embarrassment to his mild-mannered alter-ego.
