* Eddie Murphey's ''Coming to America'' has the (professionally trained from childhood in martial arts) do this with an unscrew-able mop handle to ward off an armed robber.
* The fight between [[SchoolgirlLesbians S]][[LadyOfWar e]][[PaleSkinnedBrunette t]][[BodyguardCrush s]][[{{Onmyodo}} u]][[KatanasAreJustBetter n]][[ImplausibleFencingPowers a]] and [[AntiMagic A]][[{{Tsundere}} s]][[MysteriousWaif u]][[FieryRedhead n]][[BoatLights a]] at the TournamentArc of ''MahouSenseiNegima'' featured Setsuna wielding a push-broom against Asuna's PaperFanOfDoom, due to bladed weapons being verboten.  Earlier in the arc, a minor character wielded a traditional broom as a magic weapon; unfortunately, she was up against [[TheLancer K]][[HalfHumanHybrid o]][[BloodKnight t]][[TheRival a]][[BigBadassWolf r]][[WouldntHitAGirl o]].  Also, Setsuna and Asuna were in a [[{{Meido}} maid outfit]] and [[PantyFighter lingerie]] [[HitchhikersGuideToTheGalaxy for no adequately explored reason]].  Just thought I'd put that out there.
