Transformers, totally. Seeing how most of the time the toys are either (a) designed first and the show/comic makers make a story around the characters, or (b) toy makers and show makers work together, it's more noticeable there than in ''any'' other show when someone doesn't get a toy. A non-toy character that's not a human sidekick being ''allowed'' to be prominent is next to unheard of; Tigerhawk was forced to be KilledOffForReal after two episodes because they ''weren't sure'' they were making the toy (as in, weren't sure they ''weren't'', either... and eventually did.) The AffirmativeActionGirl is the most likely to get this treatment: G1 Arcee has never had a toy, and Beast Wars Blackarachnia's toy was basically Tarantulas's painted purple... BA is ''yellow and black.'' However, the Animated version of ''Omega Supreme'' - very male, very {{Badass}}, very important - doesn't have one. Of course, the reason - in TF, PowerRangers, and anything else - is probably less sexism than the fact that the primary consumers of action figures for fighting series are ''8-year-old boys.'' Every guy in here, tell me what ''you'' think would've happened to you if you'd brought the Pink Ranger or [[http://transformers.ugo.com/images/favorite-autobots/arcee.jpg Princess Leia in]] cute pink mecha form with you to show your friends when you were that age.
