The claim that "If we don't make this page then we're denying it happens" is invalid. We don't have pages on people sitting in chairs, but we don't deny that people sit in chairs. Moreover, we have the "TooRareToTrope" concept because some things are just too rare to trope despite otherwise being tropes. We don't deny that those things happen simply because we don't have a page for them. I would argue the point further, but frankly the positive argument is just an assertion so I don't feel obliged to offer a more comprehensive negative argument. Moreover, as DustSnitch said, we are under no obligation to document every negative thing in the world. I'd like to add, though, that ''because'' the queerbaiting page is necessarily negative, it is less likely to get through TLP in the first place. You, tyrekecorrea, admitted yourself that it has a "powerful and growing negative impact." That seems to agree that this is necessarily negative, and it also implies that it's a politically charged, current, hot-button issue. We don't normally trope hot-button things anyway. Concerning your (obssessive?) demands for the source code... I don't understand what having "the source code of the original page" will do. It would, what, help you recreate the draft. You implied earlier (24 Sept. 2017) that anyone who disagrees with you about this draft is "not contributing" to the discussion, and I can't help but suspect that you'll use "the source code of the original page" to needlessly recreate the draft if (probably "when") this draft is discarded. So, I think it's fair to ask: What are you planning to even do with the source code if you get it? ---- Regarding the redirect idea, I searched Google for "queerbaiting tvtropes" and HideYourLesbians and BaitAndSwitchLesbians already come up on the first page. If it does become a redirect, I think it ought to go to just TheHomophobiaIndex instead.
