What exactly is supposed to be expanded on?  There's a huge list of examples already on that trope page.  Is there a TRS thread for this trope you can link to or else please at least explain what about that trope page we're supposed to fix here.

Looking briefly at the example list, it looks like that trope is drawing several types of unrelated Framing Devices so it probably needs a TRS about splitting it and cutting examples of episodes that include flashbacks that aren't the full episode.  For example, I think Highlander and Forever Knight might need cut, unless they had a special episode or two that qualify, but in that case, those episodes should be cited rather than the shows in general.  Like there's examples where the point is that a character is narrating what happened as a letter or telling a therapist or just addressing the audience.  Then there's a show like Southland where the first scene is always a brief shot of something dramatic from near the end of the episode, a one or two sentence ominous present-tense voiceover by a non-character and then into the rising action that will eventually lead up to the preview scene without any narration.  NCIS does something similar but the glimpses of the future are much too brief to contain plot or to frame the rest as a flashback - usually those are just a shot of a character's reaction to something unshown - that could be a related narrative style but doesn't make it a WholeEpisodeFlashback.  There's also examples like the Torchwood: Miracle Day where an episode contains a lot of flashbacks but in a TwoLinesNoWaiting way rather than as a FramingDevice.  So... is that the kind of thing you're looking at?  Or did you have something else in mind?
