[[AC:AnimeAndManga]] * [[Anime/FullmetalAlchemist The first ''Fullmetal Alchemist'' anime]] always gives its first ending song, "Indelible Sin", an instrumental introduction before the credits appear, though the amount used varies as it consists of some simple repetitions. The second ending song, "To the Other Side of the Door", also starts early every episode except its last use in episode 25 where it starts ''late'' in special scrolling credits, but how early is "early" can also vary: Episode 19 adds a clip to the beginning of the end sequence that coincides with the full orchestra starting up, and episodes 20 and 23 add more clips before that to coincide with the one a capella lyric that kicks that off. ** [[Manga/FullmetalAlchemist The second anime]] does this for four of its five ending songs (all but the first), but only in select few episodes where the music's intro was deemed to fit the mood of the closing scene. In the case of the third ending, "Held Hands", the one time it's used early in episode 29, it also continues further into TheStinger instead of its usual finish. The fourth ending, "Sentimental Moment", is an especially odd case in that the end-credit animation sequence already includes an instrumental intro, so whenever an episode plays the instrumental version early, the song has to start all over again once the actual credits hit. * ''Anime/SonicX'' starts its ending music early more often than not for its first two songs: "Fu-tu-re" steadily warms up to the upbeat singing by adding more and more instrumentation, whereas "The Shining Road" starts off with big, bold piano chords but then winds down in energy to allow the gentle ballad to begin. "T.O.P" simply loops the drum pattern if it starts before the credits, and that only happens in three episodes.
