Hmm... I'll try a description here. Feel free to use or ignore all or parts of it: ---- The opposite of ApologizesALot, a character has done something (or a lifetime of somethings) that has upset others, but he refuses to apologize. Unlike NeverMyFault, he's not passing the blame, he simply ''isn't sorry.'' Or at least claims not to be. This can be because he feels [[IDidWhatIhadToDo He Did What He Had To Do]], and had no choice in the matter, or that the end result was worth it. UtopiaJustifiesTheMeans, y'know. Alternately, he may be too prideful to admit that he didn't have to go ''that'' far. Or he could just be a JerkAss who responds to complaints with "Yeah, yeah, stop being a baby about it." Or maybe he is in fact in the right, and the person demanding an apology is actually the bad guy from an objective viewpoint. Tyrants often try to make a heroic freedom fighter admit he [[Literature/NineteenEightyFour loves big brother]], and was very wrong to try to put a stop to the GovernmentDrugEnforcement. This is usually, but not always, a {{Character Flaw| Index}}, and may transition into AnAesop about showing consideration for others. Compare BackhandedApology, where the jerk does apologize in an insulting or blame-passing way. If he ''is'' genuinely apologetic, but has trouble actually making the apology due to pride or embarrassment, he CantSpitItOut. ---- Also, the spongebob example as you've described it isn't really this, that would be CantSpitItOut. EDIT: I notice the original description includes when the character is in fact sorry but refuses to say it. If you actually meant he simply wont ''issue'' an apology, TheUnapologetic is probably the wrong title. But I think this should be restricted to when he genuinely isn't sorry.
