You should do some mining from Serra's page, a lot of tropes for the author are actually for the book. Also should things that expose the nature of the project be spoilers, or is that not appropriate for something that isn't JustForFun?

* CostumePorn: Not quite, but even Andi's "plain" clothing gets described right down to the brandname store it came from
* EmbarrassingFirstName: Andi considers her full name Andromeda to be one.
* MeaningfulName: 
** Riley ''Bay'' is secretly a sea creature
** Andi ''Slate'' is known as "Lego Brick" to fans for a reason; she's a blank slate teenagers are able to insert themselves into. 
* OneSceneWonder / EnsembleDarkHorse: ''Everyone'' wants more Uncle Niel

YMMV: 
* MarySue: Andi is one by design
* StopHavingFunGuys: some reviewers on Good Reads take the site a little too seriously and set out to "expose" Serra as a "fraud" and the in character fans as "trolls". Went over with the book's core fan base (Nostalgia Chick fans in on the joke) about as well as you think.
