^^^Yes, we're arguing semantics, and '''that's exactly what we '''''should''''' be doing'''. Launching a trope that's too open-ended is how {{PotholeMagnet}}s are born.

Seconding Tropers/SeptimusHeap's blanket ban on YA. By that age, kids actively seek out horror, gore, off-color jokes, tragic deaths, forbidden romances, angst, etc., so any author who knows their audience is going to include that stuff (my sister's 11).

Also, still don't like MatureChildrensWork title, but I could get behind Tropers/StarSword's suggestion: FamilyUnfriendlyFamilyShow. Anyone who still has title ideas, keep 'em rollin'.

Now for the specifics: 
* Nightmares: I think it makes more sense to list HorrorTropes and SubvertedInnocence instead of NightmareFuel, since these are ''meant'' to disturb people, whereas NightmareFuel is just whatever the viewer happens to find scary.  
* Sex: Completely agree with Tropers/DunDun's list so far. Not sure why we would list NudityTropes, since that automatically bumps up the rating, but might as well. Would something like {{Stripperiffic}}  outfits count? 
* Murder: Tropers/{{shoboni}}, who in their right mind would put ''murder'' in a work for 9-year-old kids? There's a good reason HoistByHisOwnPetard is so popular. 
* Death/Violence: Not sure if DeathByNewberyMedal would count; probably not, since it sort of is meant for kids. CruelAndUnusualDeath, FamilyUnfriendlyDeath, and FamilyUnfriendlyViolence definitely do: anything with graphic depictions of blood/mutilation. 
* Also a bunch of ParentalIssues, AbuseTropes, and SexualHarassmentAndRapeTropes (unfortunately these lists include a lot of comedy tropes, so we'll have to go through them on a case-by-case basis).
