* One particularly quick example in MegaManBattleNetwork 5: During the raid on the Scilab main computer scenario (among the earliest in the game), at one point Mega Man comes across a blocked access path and the local interface program tells Mega Man that the password to unblock it might be held by one of the associates of the father of Mega Man's operator, Lan. Then the game switches to Lan in the real world (Mega Man is still in the computer system) where he has to go to his dad's work room to find a small note containing the password, then he goes back to the computer and the control goes back to Mega Man. ** At other times, there are times where you have to visit the net areas you have "liberated" from the villains' grasp to solve some more minor problems, such as the bad guys' agents trying to re-take the Oran Area of the internet. * MegaManZero 1: ** you have to revisit the intro stage to recover some files from the abandoned lab. ** Another has you revisit Aztec Falcon's stage, except that you start at the end, where you have to chase the DrillTank Hittite Hottide to prevent it from destroying your base. ** At one point you have to revisit Anubis's stage to fend off a wave of troops and fight Anubis's boss, Fefnir. ** Another mission revisits Guard Orotic's stage, except that you start by fighting the boss, Phantom, and then you try to defuse the bombs that Phantom had planted before he fought you. ** Yet another mission revisit Blizzack Stagroff's stage. Downplayed in that halfway through the stage, you're going to another direction and then you fight a different boss, Leviathan.
