Oh, a couple hours later, occurs to me that there's another case worth mentioning: collect all of these things and you get the InfinityPlusOneSword. Probably after you no longer have any real need for it. Two examples specifically of that come to mind: * FableII: destroy all the gargoyles (there are 50) and you get the best crossbow in the game. Some of the gargoyles are in areas that only unlock after you defeat the final boss (it kinda feels like they planned on more DLC than got released). * {{Okami}}: collect all the Stray Beads (there are 99) and you get a weapon that's so good it amounts to a godmode cheat -- but only in the NewGamePlus.
