I think what this YKTTW needs is a more explicit definition of what it understood under "gameplay" and "story", because those two are sometimes nigh impossible to separate. In other cases, though, the divide is obvious, so I'd suggest following definitions:

* '''Gameplay''' is the type of interaction between player and video game where the player inputs commands to overcome ''challenges'' the game throws at them. Most common type of gameplay is combat, but also things like {{stealth|BasedGame}}, CharacterCustomization, etc.
* '''Story''' is the type of interaction between player and video game where the game ''narrates'' a story to provoke an emotional reaction in the player. The most obvious example of it are cutscenes but also dialogues, even if they are [[DialogueTree somewhat interactive]].

And before you lynch me for that definition of the story, please keep in mind that this definition is based on games and entire genres where gameplay and story ''is'' separated along these lines.

By this definition, GameplayAndStoryIntegration is about games where the way a player chooses to overcome the game's ''challenges'' also affects the ''narrative'' it presents to him/her, and conversely, the game's narrative limits the ways the player can beat its challenges. Does that make sense?
