Really, this story never has a dull moment. Even ignoring the battles and the serious drama, the breather scenes themselves are both good for filling us in on much-needed information, being quite entertaining in their own right. The author expands upon their view of the Geass-verse, and then begins adding many new elements and twists that feel right at home in the canon Geass-verse. The story is even popular enough to warrant some fanart based on the new mecha designs that are introduced in the series (Knightmare Frame technology is at about the 11th Generation or so in this story, with the ancient Greek machines easily being an even match), that can be linked to upon request. Also of note is the use of excerpts from the personal notes of many characters, taking its cue from Lelouch of Britannia (above).
