I dunno, being able to get movies from 18000 years in the future gives you a pretty broad range.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.Plus even discounting the extra zero, his job was to pick out flaws in nostalgic stuff. You're never going to run out of that, because everything is nostalgic to someone.
Sorry, mistype.
The world isn't ready for giant T4 combustion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GbpGiYmBSs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKm9I figure flexibility =higher quality. I was always a little bit amazed that he was so determined to stick to something that was just a name to me. Interesting video reviews of bad films seemed like enough of a requirement to me without his job also including some arbitrary cut-off date
Because he wanted to focus on what he grew up with? Y'know, looking at nostalgia? As he kept on saying at cons, he couldn't do something like Sonic Underground because he felt like he couldn't represent it well.
I guess what I mean is, since I'm a slightly different age than him and grew up in another country, his nostalgia isn't always the same as my nostalgia, so from my perspective a lot of the time he was just reviewing and recapping a film I'd never heard of and the experience isn't much different if he starts jumping around time zones.
Even with the cutoff date he pretty quickly started doing stuff that he didn't have a personal nostalgia experience of
I think the new focus works a lot more now. Consider his Pokemon review. He did it mainly because it was within his limit and people requested it. Now, his new statement is based more around finding material. That's why he picked a movie that was not well known and relatively recent. Yes it may not be nostalgic, but he will be turning in a better product. If he can do that consistently, then I'm fully behind him. The nostalgia part was an edge to connect with an audience, but the comedy can and will connect with more people.

New Review
The Odd Life of Timothy Green is one of those family movies that is really painful to sit through. NC proved that in this review.
I'm glad he now reviews any movie, as long as its not in theaters. You'd run out of terrible movies pretty quickly if you just stuck with 19800-2004. The actual review was great, it had funny moments and was actually better then some of his other recent videos. The way the video transitions is better, too.
All in all, this is one of his video's you shouldn't miss.
