I don't think it's a work directed exclusively towards women, in fact I don't think it was written with any sort of demographic in mind. What made you think that it was?

Absolutely lovely film, excellently acted and excellently written, if obviously directed at a female audience. Don't watch it if you happen to be feeling down, even then, expect to be in floods of tears....
