149,160 words of pure and beautiful awesome. The story and history, actual and changed, and are meshed together so sublimely, that I truly have a difficult time coming up with any criticisms. Ginerva is no shallow OC, concerned only with romance and looks, but a real-seeming person lost in a time she knows could be Better. All of the characters are fleshed out and have real development in their personalities and relationships.
My only real complaints about the story is that there is little focus on the events of the game, but given the time-spans in between some of them (4 year gap, 10 year gap anyone?), this is eminently understandable. Also that it hasn't been updated since july 2011. :'(
tl;dr Read it guys! Srsly, I read it in like 2 days! It is, bar none, the best ac2 fic I've seen, ever.
