The story flips the bird at Nasuverse canon and many things which were detailed in the game. Caradryan seems to be working with just what information the anime provided and working from there, so those who've played the game should expect a lot of conflicts with their knowledge base. That said (and having read only the first chapter so far), the writing is pretty solid save for the occasional spelling and grammar glitches.
