As a reader who knows absolutely nothing about Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I find this to be one of the best Inu Yasha fics I've ever read. The story is told mostly through Buffy's perspective, and her observations on the events happening around her make even the most mundane events interesting. The plot itself has both action and romance, and there's always the sense that the author has really thought through everything about the universes she's writing about. The fic is rated M, but there's really nothing too objectionable in it, just a bit of awkward discussion about sex. Again, this fic is highly recommended, even to readers who know nothing of the Buffy universe.
