Yes, it is a Pru/Can high school AU. But with a twist—Matthew can see colors radiating off a person, indicating their emotions. He then finds out that a bunch of other people (Gilbert, Lovino, Feliks, Yao, amongst others) also have special abilities, and it all goes downhill from there. This is an interesting mix between friendship, romance, drama and comedy—the friendship of Matthew and Gilbert, their eventual romance, as well as that of others, the drama of Matthew trying to control his powers and dealing with having "killed" a man with them, and the comedy of, well, Gilbert. It's still in progress, and I'm normally not one to read in progress stories (way too impatient), but I had to make an exception with this.
