Meet the Parents was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. The jokes were quite well timed and interconnected, and the misunderstandings were very funny; my grandma even described it as "worse than Seinfeld." I know a lot of people remember the lie detector part the most, but the other parts were good too.
Meet the Fockers was a little more risque than the first one, what with Greg's parents' openness, but it was still enjoyable in its own way. The part where Little Jack's first word was "asshole" was especially funny for me because that happened in my own family, believe it or not, but that's another story for another time.
Little Fockers, sadly, fell on its rear. There were a few good jokes here and there, but it just wasn't as good as the first too. Plus I think it relied a little too much on sexual humor. Hopefully it'll be the last one in the line; I would add more, but I don't want to accidentally tempt fate.
So be sure to rent the first two when you get the chance; you won't regret it.
