However, this fic not only takes a cold hard look at how poorly constructed the Soul Society is as a society, more than even Soul Chess did, but it completely revolutionizes Erza's character. She is put in situations she is not comfortable with and is forced to act accordingly. There's even a moment where Erza and Aizen are working together and it adds significant well-paced drama to a fic whose premise sounds shaky on paper. Definitely worth a look.
