I'll admit, there were some good content creators who used the site to animate their work. (Key word: some) But the general content I've seen on the animation site was just awful. Many of the videos I've seen contained the same formulaic plot with the same characters (Grounded videos, ANYTHING involving Caillou, etc.). The limitations of the site (base characters, bgs, tts voices) didn't help matters either, as most of the videos I've seen ended up being choppy with almost zero effort put into it.
GoAnimate videos are an acquired taste to me. Some like them (ironically or unironically), others (including myself) absolutely loathe them.
