Much better than it sounds, full of both humor (". . . Jem'Hadar ogres, Vorta goblins, and their shape shifting leader, the wicked Jello Witch.") and unforced poignancy. Be warned that it's based on one of DS 9's darkest episodes, and though the tone is changed, the plot isn't.
