Relays too heavily on gross out humour than actual jokes

When I was 12 years old, I was a big fan of the TV series. So, I was surprised to find out that there was a movie on Bottom that was out on video.

I actually thought it was a Straight To Video release.

When I rented the movie out, I was disgusted by it. The climax features people vomiting for 10 minutes. That was the best climax for a movie that Rik and Ade could come up with?

Not everyone likes gross out gags. It's like gore in horror movies. If you show too much gore, the audience is going to be disgusted and put off. (Hellbound Hellrasier 2 for example.)

Having a character vomit once is okay, having characters vomit 40 times is not.

Also, the rest of the movie is not really that funny. there were a few good gags like the scene where Richie was in the rubber bikini trying to hide from everyone and the "I want to it eat it naked" scene, but the rest of the movie falls flat.

Bottom works as a 30 minute episode or even a live show, but not as a movie.
