No need to give Naruto all that stuff - but he does anyway.
"I've never understood why so many people think they need to give Naruto a bunch of new bloodlines and artifacts to write a Super!Naruto story" In this story, Naruto is descended from a literal kami. His bloodline somehow is more regenerative than when Kyuubi's chakra is patching him up. Later, when he gets a team, he equips them all with power suits developed from the snow country armor. He also managed to befriend a wind kami, who follows him around and occasionally does his bidding.
I agree that it wouldn't take much to make Naruto absurdly powerful with only his canon attributes, but the author doesn't follow through.
