Project Sunflower is one of the best in the entire fandom. It has a lot of similarities with the book "Century Rain" by Alistair Reynolds, the two biggest things being the nano machines devouring the world and a shadowy organization trying to find a new place for humanity to live. Despite this, Project Sunflower manages to do its own thing and it is an incredibly heart-warming tale, with mystery, intrigue, and quite a lot of ponies. The main character, Erin, is extremely relatable and even better, likable. Highly recommended.
