Is Watership Down really as anti-female as is being argued here? The Efrafan females have their plotline based heavily around their desire to mate and bear their children freely, but the Watership Down males have their plotline based heavily around their desire to find females in order that their warren can exist. The females are not presented as being less intelligent, Hyzenthlay is a prophet, and Blackavar's response when it seems that they are not going to escape Efrafa is that some of the does can fight well when put to it. (Not all male rabbits are described as good/passable fighters, either, and most don't fight in the battle at the end.)

Regarding the Harsher In Hindsight section, is it really that harsh if some of the voice actors of the movie died decades later? I can maybe see the AIDS one, but John Hurt died 39 years later at 77.
