Claire never quite seems to react with the amount of worry one would expect after learning that her little sibling has been kidnapped and switched by a troll. In fact, the season 1 mid-season finale has her more worried about the play than her little brother. Granted, Jim assured her he was safe and the viewer knows he's safe, even if away, but she seems to have no rush in finding her brother during season one.
This tumblr post basically calls out how throughout the entire franchise, Steve Palchuk's trauma is Played for Laughs.
I removed this for the following reasons:
1. The first entry might be debatable, and I'm asking on Ask The Tropers about it, but I don't think it counts. I mean, she completely panics, and then she harasses him about when he's going to save her brother for the entire rest of the season. What more do you want?
2. The second part is just straight up Not This Trope. It sounds like it might work as an example of Dude, Not Funny!, though, but that would also need to be discussed, I think.
